Iron Range OHV

About

Nestled in Gilbert, Minnesota, just north of Duluth, lies 1200 acres of some of the best off-highway vehicle recreation in the Midwest. What used to be a mined iron ore pit became 36 miles of off-roading. From beginner to buggy territory, there is plenty of terrain and opportunity to have a nice ride through nature or throw a winch line to get out of some black diamond areas. Trees, boulders, rock piles that move beneath you, hidden rocks in fields, plenty of mud and water, upper and lower levels, and breath taking views await at Iron Range.

We took on the Iron Range for three days. Anyone who lives in the Midwest will tell you Iron Range OHV is a wheeling destination not to be missed.

As of 2025, Jeep has announced a Badge of Honor on the Mesabi Mountain Trail – looks like we’ll be going back in the near future.
