Quarry Meadows OHV hosted the second of our annual Go Topless Day event. Off-roading, raffles, games, camping, and road riding warriors gathered in support of Steppin’ Out In Pink. In addition to the money raised at the event, $900, Barricade donated $500. All total, $1,400 went to the charity for breast cancer awareness.

Throughout the warm summer days and cool nights, DOR 4×4 headed out to various venues for food, drinks, general merriment, and showing off our rides. While supporting our local eateries, we held a few raffles along the way – the classic 50/50 and some merch giveaways. Through a local wheeler whose land has now become a popular favorite of many of our members, we learned of the new All Abilities Splash Pad project in Cashton, WI. Our raised raffle money and several individual contributions led to the donation of $1206 towards the project.

Nestled in Gilbert, Minnesota, just north of Duluth, lies 1200 acres of some of the best off-highway vehicle recreation in the Midwest. What used to be a mined iron ore pit became 36 miles of off-roading. From beginner to buggy territory, there is plenty of terrain and opportunity to have a nice ride through nature or throw a winch line to get out of some black diamond areas. Trees, boulders, rock piles that move beneath you, hidden rocks in fields, plenty of mud and water, upper and lower levels, and breath taking views await at Iron Range.

We took on the Iron Range for three days. Anyone who lives in the Midwest will tell you Iron Range OHV is a wheeling destination not to be missed.

As of 2025, Jeep has announced a Badge of Honor on the Mesabi Mountain Trail – looks like we’ll be going back in the near future.

Whether it’s volunteering to trail build for Jeep Jamboree USA or given the chance to wheel on the same land, we like to make a summer out of heading to Mole Lake.

We have a few years worth of trips. Check them out HERE
